Shaking things up a bit

I know I'm a bad blogger!

I won't say I'll post every day but I will post as often as I can. There are several times coming up this month which will make it difficult to blog but I'll check in as often as possible.

This week I decided to step up my workouts. So I joined Daily Burn and have signed up to do the true beginner workouts. I did a mobility one yesterday and today I did a core workout.

I also attended a meeting today and biked there and back for a total of 62 minutes of biking. Whew I should sleep well tonight.

I'm still getting my water in and for me it makes such a difference in the way I physically feel.

Breakfast: Oatmeal cooked with skim milk and water and topped with thawed mixed berries and a tbsp of ff cream Simply Filling

Lunch: extra lean ham, raw veggies, tortillas made from a corn tortilla which is just 50 calories and .5 of a gram of fat so I count as SF, light yogurt, clementine and salsa Simply Filling

Dinner: extra lean hamburger no bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, steak sauce, ff cheese slice, baked home made fries with olive oil Simply Filling

Other: ff cream for coffee and a glass of red wine Simply Filling + 5sp

It was one of those days!

Today was just one of those day.

Went on a walk this morning and saw a cute baby bunny! Came home and realized my fitbit was still on sleep mode and hadn't tracked my walk. Ugh! May seem silly but I find my fitbit very motivating so when it's not working mama is not a happy camper

I've felt tired all day and no idea why?? Today was cloudy and a lot cooler so maybe that was it?

Went to a meeting tonight where they served dinner. Did the best I could with my choices.

Hope I'm back in sync tomorrow. Jen and Lucas are taking me out to lunch so that will be fun.

This weeks goals:

1. blog daily - almost didn't but didn't want to start skipping a day - Check!
2. earn 110 fit points this week - with the fitbit not tracking today I have some catching up to do but I've got the rest of the week to do it - 43 fit points so far

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, zucchini, 2 berry oatmeal muffins and pineapple Simply Filling

Lunch: Blt using smoked turkey bacon 2sp, golden beet chips and an apple Simply Filling + 2sp

Dinner: At meeting I chose a chicken breast, green beans and some salad with dressing on the side

Other: ff cream for coffee

Beautiful walk

Went for a 55 minute walk this morning and a 50 minute bike ride this afternoon!

This weeks goals:

1. blog daily - check
2. earn 110 fit points this week -  36 fit points so far this week. Now I may have more later tonight but will update daily

Breakfast: Blueberry raspberry oatmeal parfait Simply Filling

Lunch: raw veggies, lean ham and pineapple Simply Filling

Dinner: Extra lean hamburger with a lettuce wrap, ff cheese slice, tomato, onion, jalapeno and steak sauce with some home made baked fries Simply Filling

Other: fat free cream for coffee, iced coffee fat free and sugar free Simply Filling

New weekly goals

Last week my goals for the week were:

1. blog every day and I managed to do it 7 days out of 7!
2. drink at least 8 cups of water every day I also did this 7 days out of 7!

So I'm very happy with last week

This weeks goals are:

1. blog every day because I think this is key to my accountability Day 1 - check
2. earn 110 fitpoints Day 1 - 15 so far

Weigh in this week: I'm very happy with a -1.2 lb loss. Now onto another good week.

Breakfast: smoked ham/goat cheese/jalapeno egg cups, light yogurt and berries Simply Filling + 1sp

Lunch: raw veggies, extra lean ham, light swiss cheese, a foldit and pineapple Simply Filling + 1sp

Dinner: Leftover pork tenderloin, potato, olive oil, peas, kale and unsweetened applesauce Simply Filling

Other: ff cream for coffee, ff sf latte and a glass of red wine Simply Filling + 5sp

Loving the bike this year

The more I've been riding my bicycle the more I love it!! It's so easy just to hop on and go, especially when we don't have a car. I can remember when I first starting riding and I couldn't go up the easiest of hills and now nothing stops me!!

Whenever you try new things it does take a while to get used to them. Just don't give up.

I'm happy to say after eating at the Chinese buffet yesterday my weight was the same today as it was yesterday and I call that a win!!

Ralph and I went on a 45 minute bike ride this afternoon even though it was really hot in the sun today. While we were out we stopped at McDonald's and I already knew what my choice was going to be. An iced coffee with no base or cream and I took my own ff cream and sweetener so it was a 0 count drink :) Quite refreshing.

Breakfast: Egg white omelet, berries and light yogurt and 2 berry oatmeal muffins Simply Filling click on link to recipe

Dinner: salad with light dressing 2sp, light parmesan cheese 1sp, pillers smoked breakfast ham, cherries and sf jello Simply Filling + 3sp

Chinese buffet!

Another gorgeous day here today.

Ralph has wanted to go to a Chinese buffet for a while so we decided to have lunch there today. I've been there enough times that I know what choices are available so it's not at all stressful.

Also went to a store called Farm Boy. Beautiful produce and they have an amazing coffee section :)

Tonight I'm just putting my feet up and relaxing.

Yesterday:

Today:
1. blog every day - check
2. drink at least 8 cups of water - 10 cups so far!

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites scrambled, 1 leftover oatmeal cornmeal pancake, 1/2 Tbsp sf syrup and berries Simply Filling

Lunch: at a Chinese buffet
Plate #1 shrimp, veggies and seaweed salad

Plate #2 chicken breast, mussels, broccoli, green beans only ate about 1/2 because I was satisfied and didn't want to feel stuffed

Plate #3 Dessert: fruit
I also drank a big glass of iced lemon water

Dinner: Bbq'd pork tenderloin, corn on the cob, carrots, cherries Simply Filling

Other: fat free cream for coffee, glass of red wine 5sp

A happy day

Although I didn't get much sleep last night I woke up in a fantastic mood!

Went into work to talk to my boss, did a bit of shopping and bit of walking. Saw this car and had to take a pic!

Then it was off to visit Jen and Lucas. Wow who knew I'd feel so much love for the little guy <3 I just look at a picture of him and my heart melts!

Today he tried to take a selfie :)

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, mushrooms, olive oil, slice of ff cheese, slice of Piller's smoked breakfast ham, grapefruit and 1 mini baked chocolate banana breakfast cookie click the link for recipe. I make 4 small instead of 1 large Simply Filling

Lunch: zucchini chips, veggies, salmon salad and an apple Simply Filling

Dinner: BBQ'd chicken, brown rice, salad, 1 Tbsp ff Italian dressing and dessert was cottage cheese blended with a frozen banana and some frozen pineapple Simply Filling

Other: fat free cream for coffee and a glass of red wine 5sp

Lots of temptation today!

At work today it was Camp Day where we raise money to send kids to camp!
Our store has a bake sale every year. Well there were amazing desserts brought in to sell. I donate rather than bake as I can't be trusted around sugar :) I'm proud to say I didn't eat one crumb!

This weeks goals:

2. drink at least 8 cups of water - 12

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, tomatoes, olive oil, 1 oatmeal cornmeal pancake, berries and 1/2 tbsp sf pancake syrup 0sp Simply Filling + 0sp

Lunch: mini lettuce wrapped salmon salad, veggies, pear and plain Greek yogurt Simply Filling

Dinner: sandwich with extra lean ham, ff cheese slice, lettuce and ff mayo, apple and veggies Simply Filling

Other: fat free cream for coffee and a glass of wine after work 5sp

Fitbit stats: I didn't go for a walk before work this morning as I was really tired after getting over 17,000 steps yesterday!! I did get caught up with my dishes before work though :)
