Back to work!

The weather is finally a bit cooler and I'll be inside working 2-10. Oh well many more nice weather days to come I hope!

Woke up early enough this morning that I time to go for an hours walk. That always starts my day off on the right foot.

Change of work days this week so I work today and tomorrow.

I received a nice compliment today: they thanked me for posting my meals as it gave them a new perspective on simply filling! Awwww

This weeks goals:

1. Blog daily - check!
2. Drink at least 8 cups of water daily - 8 cups

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, 1 tsp olive oil, plain Greek yogurt with berries and 2 mini chocolate banana breakfast cookies Simply Filling

I just make the Giant chocolate banana breakfast cookie but made 4 small ones instead of 1 big one.

Lunch: fold it pizza with light mozzerella cheese 2sp, pizza sauce, butterball turkey pepperoni 1sp, veggies and grapes Simply Filling + 3sp

Dinner: taking to work 2 slices of bread with light margarine 1sp, an apple, vegetable soup and I'll buy a non fat sugar free latte Simply Filling + 1sp

Other: fat free cream for coffee

Fun day on the bike

This morning I had a meeting to go to and decided to ride my bike there and back for a total of an hours ride.

After a nice lunch the hubs asked if we could go out on the bike again :) Well yes indeed! So off we went on another 30 minute ride.

We stopped at McDonald's where Ralph had a diet pop and I chose a fat free, sugar free cappuccino which is simply filling.

How are my goals so far today? Well I'm making a blog post and so far I've drank 12 cups of water so goals are met today.

Breakfast: flat out with 1 egg, 2 egg whites, 2 tbsp goat cheese spread 1sp, 1 tsp olive oil, ff single cheese slice, mushrooms and berries Simply Filling + 1sp

Lunch: Raw veggies, beet chips, extra lean ham, cucumber salad, plain Greek yogurt Simply Filling

Dinner: lean pork chop, broccoli, corn on the cob and 2 tsp light margarine Simply Filling + 1sp

fat free cream for coffee, glass of red wine, fat free sugar free cappuccino, banana simply filling + 5sp

Fitbit stats: I'll hit 10,000 before I go to bed :)

Goals for this week

My goal for this week is to blog every day no matter how busy I am!! I have to get to doing it everyday as it really does help to keep me on track.

Another goal this week is to drink at least 8 cups of water a day. Either plain water or iced herbal tea.

Today I went out on a 45 minute walk this morning thinking it would be cooler but really it was crazy hot and the only relief I felt was in the shade in the woods. I decided against going on a bike ride this after noon as it was just too much heat.

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, slice of Piller's simply free smoked breakfast ham, 1 tsp olive oil, slice of Ezekiel bread with light margarine 1 sp, 1/2 a grapefruit Simply Filling

Lunch: raw veggies, tuna salad made with ff mayo, grapes and plain Greek yogurt with a little sweetener Simply Filling

Dinner: lettuce, light dressing 2sp, parmesan cheese 1sp, home made croutons, shrimp and a pear Simply Filling + 3sp

Other: ff cream for coffee, glass of red wine Simply Filling + 5sp

Water: 12 cups so far :)

No need to panic!

Tonight I had a banquet to go to for the prevention of crime. Since I'm on the board of an agency for mental health and I volunteer a lot there I was given 2 tickets to go.

I had no idea what they were going to serve but I didn't need to worry it was a pretty healthy dinner!

I also went for a short walk this morning with dark clouds and thunder in the distance. Luckily it didn't rain until I got home.

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, sundried tomato and onion, slice of ff cheese, slice of Ezekiel toast with becel pro active margarine and clementines Simply Filling + 1sp

Lunch: Veggies, extra lean ham, banana, yogurt, corn tortillas made into chips and salsa Simply Filling

Dinner: Chicken, veggies and a couple of potatoes, Salad with no dressing and water on the side

Hot, hot, hot......

Sorry I haven't been around a couple of days but I've had things going on every day this week!!
Tomorrow I have a big shindig to go to for crime prevention and it includes dinner. No idea what will be served but I will choose wisely.

Today I went to visit Jen and Lucas. It was a hot day but at least there was a breeze. Lucas was enjoying some pea risotto :) Such a happy guy. I love that Jen is feeding Lucas real food. His favorite so far it broccoli.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, smoked breakfast ham slice, beet greens, olive oil and strawberries Simply Filling

Lunch: on the go! Veggies, extra lean ham, light yogurt and an apple Simply Filling

Dinner: whole wheat pasta, home made pasta sauce, parmesan cheese 1sp, salad, fat free dressing Simply Filling + 1sp

Other: ff cream for coffee, glass of red wine, later snack of 1/2c ff cottage cheese and 1/2 c frozen berries Simply Filling + 5sp

Moving right along

I had an issue today with someone in one of my groups. They were upset that I don't list which of my foods are Canadian and that I should put that I'm in Canada in all my posts.
Well I'm sorry but I already spend a lot of time online and I'm sorry but we don't have some of the variety of products here and we choose the best that we can.
I ended up blocking her as I just don't need the negativity in my life and we had words before.
I have no problem with anyone asking me questions and I do my best to answer but please respect my choices.

Now onto my great day!

This morning Ralph and I went shopping then came home and rode our bikes to and from another mall. All in all I rode for 45 minutes.

Bought some amazing herbal teas from Davids Tea to make my iced teas which I've been loving lately. Today I bought pineapple mimosa, sangria and raspberry mojito.

Came home and started the bbq for a fantastic dinner.

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, Piller's smoked breakfast ham, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, mixed berries, slice of Ezekiel bread Simply Filling


Dinner: bbq'd chicken, baked potato, 2 tsp becel pro active margarine 1sp, ff sour cream, salad and 1 tbsp ff Italian dressing 0sp Simply Filling +1sp

Other: ff cream for coffee, glass of red wine 5sp

So far today and it will be at 10,000 by the time I go to bed :)

Another day at work

I was up early again this morning but this time I truly had a lazy morning! Took the time to catch up with some online things before I needed to get ready for work.

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of oatmeal cooked in 1/2 cup of skim milk and 1/2 cup of water, unsweetened cocoa, sweetener, 1 egg white, banana, 1/2 Tbsp peanut butter and 1/2 tbsp sf pancake syrup SF + 2sp

Lunch: foldit made into 2 mini pizzas, with skim milk mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, onion, peppers, jalapenos and pizza sauce with an apple on the side SF + 3sp

At work: took 2 slices of Ezekiel bread, 2 tsp of becel pro active margarine, clementine, yogurt and bought a bowl of chicken noodle soup but just ate 3/4 of it SF + 4sp

Other: fat free cream for coffee, raspberries and a small apple

I am tired tonight!

I started today by waking up early so that I could go grocery shopping. Nice to have the fridge full again.

I also went to work.  It was pretty quiet except for the last hour which was crazy :)

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, pillers smoked breakfast ham, baby spinach, ff cheese slice, olive oil, grapefruit Simply Filling

Lunch: veggies, black forest ham, leftover baked chocolate banana oatmeal, raspberries and light yogurt Simply Filling

At work: I took 2 slices of Ezekiel bread, 2 tsp becel pro activ margarine and an apple. I bought vegetable soup to go  with it Simply Filling + 3sp

Other: fat free cream for coffee, glass of red wine 5sp

A walk and a bike ride

Went on a beautiful walk this morning and on a bike ride this afternoon! Tomorrow it's back to work.

Breakfast: French toast made with ezekiel bread, 1 egg, skim milk, cinnamon, sweetener and topped with a banana and 1 tbsp sf pancake syrup Simply Filling + 1sp

Lunch: extra lean ham, veggies, dip made with plain Greek yogurt, apple and yogurt Simply Filling

Dinner: corn tortillas topped with extra lean taco meat lettuce, tomato, salsa, fat free sour cream, light cheese and 1/2c ff cottage cheese blended with 1/2c frozen mixed tropical fruit Simply Filling +3sp

Staying on track

Beautiful day today so I definitely got off my butt and headed out for a walk. Walked for 45 minutes!

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg white omelet, mushrooms, olive oil, clementine, slice of Ezekiel toast with 2 tsp of becel pro active margarine Simply Filling + 1sp

Lunch: home made beet chips, salsa, leftover salmon with Kraft ff whipped mayo, cucumber slices, banana and plain Greek yogurt Simply Filling

Dinner: extra lean hamburger on a bun with tomato, onion, steak sauce, coleslaw, salad with 1 Tbsp ff Italian dressing Simply filling +4sp
