Lovely weather!

It was a beautiful day and I went out on a 45 minute walk even though my cat woke me up so early I'm feeling tired.
Hang on little guy :)

He's 16 now and he's just started waking me up at the crack of dawn! Ugh gotta love him :)

There is one good thing about getting up early I definitely get more housework done.

This weeks goals:
1. Do a weight workout either with dumbbells or with bodyweight 0/7 days
2. Drink at least 8 cups of water. Today I really had to work on it. 1 day/7
3. Do some interval walking or speed walking 0/7 days
4. Find 2 things every day to be grateful for 2/7 days

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites scrambled, light cheese, beet greens, olive oil and grapefruit 7pp

Weekly weigh in and goal update

Yes today is weigh in day!

I was very happy to see a -1.4 lb loss today
This week:
I ate 5 out of my 49 points
I earned 48 activity points and didn't use any

Last weeks goals:
1. Tracking everything honestly. Every taste, lick and bite. 7 out of 7 days!
2. Drink at least 8 cups of water every day 7 out of 7 days!
3. Stick to my house cleaning schedule 7 out of 7 days
4. Don't step on the scale until Sunday. Well I had to step on Saturday for a challenge but I didn't get on it any other day so I'm calling it a win :)

This weeks goals:
1. Do a weigh workout 2 times this week whether it's with dumbbells or with body weight
2. I really have to make myself drink water lately so I'm going to have drink 8 cups of water a day
3. Do some interval walking or power walking! Build up a sweat :)
4. Find 2 things every day to be thankful for

Today:

I am so thankful for a wonderful family who loves me unconditionally.
I am thankful for the healthy food choices that are in my fridge.
I am thankful for a beautiful day so that I could go on a nice walk

I also went to a viewing at a funeral home for a friend at work whose brother was killed in an accident. So very sad and my heart aches for her family.

Breakfast: Giant chocolate banana breakfast cookie, plain Greek yogurt mixed with pumpkin, pumpkin spice and sweetener! 7pp

Lunch: veggies, light cheese lean ham, caramalized onion relish, sauerkraut and an apple 4pp

Saturday

Just a normal Saturday. Nothing crazy like last night!

Tomorrow is weigh in day and time for new goals.

3. Stick to my house cleaning schedule 7 days out of 7
4. Stay off the scale till Sunday. I did have to get on it for a challenge but I still feel good about this week.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 3 oz potato, kale, bacon and grapefruit 8pp

Lunch: roasted tomato slices with light cheese and jalepeno, olive oil, avocado, beets and a banana 7pp

At work: tuna with garlic and hot peppers, veggies, plain Greek yogurt and berries 4pp

Other: Kefir, organic cream for coffees 5pp

Crazy night at work!

Oh my goodness what a night a work!
First I was working with new staff and it was crazy busy so I was doing a lot of running around and getting nothing done!
Then I had customers fighting over a table. It was nuts neither customer would back down. I had to break them apart and threaten to call the police! Give me a break. I finally asked which one wanted to act like an adult and sit at another table. One customer finally back down and when I was walking away from them the other customers cheered me :) Did I mention that one of the customers was 95?

This weeks goals:
1. Track everything, don't leave anything out 6 days out of 7 days so far
2. Drink at least 8 cups of water daily 6 out of 7 days so far
3. Stick to my housecleaning schedule! Indeed I did
4. Stay off of the scale until Sunday I didn't touch it today but I will have to step on it Saturday for a challenge I'm in. I'll still call it a win :)

Lunch: salad, tuna salad, dressing, banana and a tbsp natural almond butter not shown 9pp

A nice day for a ride

It was so nice this afternoon that Ralph and I put on our shorts and went for a 45 minute bike ride!

This weeks goals:

3. Stick to my housecleaning schedule! Done. Did the bedrooms today
4. Stay off of the scale until Sunday I didn't touch it today but I will have to step on it Saturday for a challenge I'm in. I'll still call it a win :)

A very sad day

I was very sad to find out that a co-worker lost her 17 year old brother in a tragic accident last night that also took another life and left another young man in critical condition.

So I went into work tonight to cover for my co-worker.

Went on a 45 minute walk this morning. Walking in the woods helps me to come to terms with things.

2. Drink at least 8 cups of water everyday 4 days/7
3. Stick to my housecleaning schedule 4 days/7
4. Stay off of the scale until Sunday! haven't even looked at it :)

Lunch: We were invited to a Chinese buffet for both the hubs and my birthday. Made wise choices and it was approximately 9pp

Dinner: I wasn't hungry until I got home from work 8:30 tonight! Just grabbed some chicken, dip, cherry tomatoes and pomegranate 3pp

Sticking to my plan!

It was a beautiful day today so I went out on a 65 minute walk this morning

I also did quite a bit of house cleaning :)

A wonderful day!

I stopped by to visit my favorite grandson and his Mom :) O.k he's my only one but he's so darn cute! Oh and took Bubba on a walk as well.


I managed to get a walk in walking to and from their house to the bus stop. I'll get a walk in any way I can.

When I got home I cleaned out the front hall closet and vacuumed all the heaters before we turn them on.

This weeks goals:

Weekly weigh in and update!

Stayed off the scale all week and this morning I lost -1.8!! Very happy with that.

I used 6 of my 49 weekly points
I earned 38 activity points and didn't touch them.

Last weeks goals:

Went on a 25 minute walk with the hubs. He doesn't walk much as he prefers riding his bike so I make it short walks :)

Dinner: Chili with a dob of plain Greek yogurt 8pp
