I keep forgetting what day it is as I usually work Friday and Saturday and this week I'm working Tues, Weds and Friday. Woke up thinking today was Saturday :)

Getting my walk on!

Wow I really felt it in my legs after yesterdays walk!

Sometimes you just need to get out and do it, which is exactly what I did today :) Drizzly with rain but I managed to do another 50 minute walk.

This is my plan!

So the new smart points with Weight Watchers has started. After a lot of thought I've decided to stick with simply filling. With the new program Weight Watchers gives me 28 weekly points as compared to 49 of the old weekly points. They also don't encourage us to use any of our fit points. Well I used to use the weekly points and some of my activity points with success so that's what I will be doing this time. Weight Watchers has also increased the points of some foods so I will need the extra points. If it doesn't work I will go back to the drawing board but I'm pretty confident it will.

This is how my day/week will go:

1. Simply Filling so any filling foods do not cost me points and I can have up to 2 oils a day for 0 sp.
2. I have 28 weekly points to use for foods that are not filling foods.
3. I will use some of the fit points I earn if I need to.
4. There is nowhere to track water on the new site and for me it's a must to get my water in so I will be tracking that.

Back to today: My focus this week is going to be on sticking with the program and getting some walks in. Over the holiday I've neglected my walks and that's got to stop now.

Went on a 50 minute walk this morning and walked around the mall this afternoon!

While I was in the middle of making dinner the hubs blew a fuse so that all power in the kitchen went off. Sat in candlelight until the hubs came home from the store with new fuses :) Good job I stocked up on candles from Yankee candle today.

Lunch: coleslaw mix, 1 1/2 Tbsp blue menu mayo 1sp, 1 tsp olive oil, Pillers simply free black forest ham, veggies, fruit = Simply Filling + 1sp

Dinner: chicken, cranberry sauce no sugar, brussels sprouts, 1 tsp olive oil, 2 clementines = Simply Filling

Other: fat free keifer 0sp I forgot I had a non fat unsweetened cappuccino when I was out Simply Filling

Fit Points: my goal is to earn 5 fp/day today I earned 13 total for the week 69   tomorrow starts a new week

Can't believe I rode a bike in December!

Started today by running to the grocery store for a couple of things. I power walked around the store to get some steps in :)

Ralph asked if I'd like to ride our bikes to the mall this afternoon! Well it was pretty mild and I dressed warm so off we went. I could tell I haven't been on it lately as my legs were burning pretty good. I can't remember the last time we had our bikes out in December with no snow.

I'm enjoying the new program. Honestly it isn't making too much difference to my choices.

Breakfast: 1 egg, 1/2c egg whites, 1 tsp olive oil, 1 slice toast, 1 tsp butter, zucchini and berries 8sp

Lunch: Veggies, leftover steamed salmon, light cheese, blueberry scone, Greek yogurt 11sp

Dinner: Salisbury steak with mushroom onion gravy, mashed potato and carrots 9sp

A good day for a walk!

For most of today I felt tired. I woke up earlier than I usually do and I also did a lot yesterday so it wasn't a big surprise.

 I still went out on a 55 minute walk. Pretty mild for this time of year. The squirrels are loving this mild weather.

Breakfast: brownie waffle with 1 tbsp light peanut butter warmed up, banana and cream for coffees 10 smart points

Lunch: veggies, 2 clementines, extra lean ham, light cheese 4 smart points

Dinner: steamed trout, jasmine rice, broccoli and olive oil 11 smart points

Well I passed that goal!

So the new Weight Watchers program came out today. It basically promotes unprocessed foods, promotes eating protein, veggies, fruits, healthy oils and healthy carbs. Right up my alley!

Anyway they have a new thing called fitpoints for moving more. So after a quick quiz they set mine at 3 fitpoints a day or 18 a week. So far today I've earned 11. Guess I'll set the goal higher next week.

My goal is 30 smart points per day and 28 weekly points. Today I used 30 points and no weeklies and I enjoyed everything :)

Today I walked to and from the library to take some books back. I did laundry, dishes and cleaned the couch. Whew i'm going to sleep well tonight.

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, extra lean ham, spinach, cherry tomatoes, grapefruit, slice of toast with pumpkin butter and cream for coffees 8 smart points

Lunch: flat out with lettuce, peppers and cream cheese, veggies, 2 clementines 3 smart points

Dinner: home made chicken strips with salad, light cheese, 1 tbsp sweet onion dressing, cherries and cherry Greek yogurt 12 smart points

Other: keifer, glass of red wine and one square of extra dark chocolate 7 smart points

It was one of those nights

First I went grocery shopping this morning.

Then home to get ready for work.

Unfortunately one staff didn't show up so I had to find someone else to come in, then another staff showed up without the proper uniform so he needed to go home to get changed.

On top of that it was a pretty busy night.

Oh well now I'm home with a glass of red wine and a square of very dark chocolate :)

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, light cheese, slice of toast with pumpkin butter, 1 sausage and 1 tsp olive oil 8pp

Lunch: tuna salad in lettuce leaves and berries 3pp

A very productive day!

Since I'm back to work tomorrow I decided to get some housecleaning done that I don't usually do.

Before that I went out on an hours walk :)

After lunch I steam cleaned the carpeted stairs, moved the oven and fridge out to clean the walls and the floor behind them. Wow all I can say is that I shouldn't have waited so long! It was a good workout.

Breakfast: 1/2c oatmeal, 10g raisins, 1 egg white, home made pumpkin ginger butter, coffee 6pp

Lunch: 1/2 can tuna, light mayo, veggies, berries, Greek yogurt 4pp

Dinner: steamed salmon, jasmine rice, broccoli sauteed in olive oil 10pp

Are you excited for the updated Weight Watchers?

Sorry it's been awhile since I've been here!

Weight Watchers is coming out with major changes by Dec 6! I'm getting excited.

The only problem is that the points/activity points aren't in sync right now so it's harder to keep track.

So I may decide follow the new program once the changes are here or do Simply Filling. I'm actually excited to see what the changes are. I believe that it will still have the Simply Filling option.

For today:

Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 egg white omelet with extra lean ham, spinach, roasted tomatoes, light feta cheese and cantaloupe 4pp

Lunch: veggies, berries and turkey breast 1pp

Dinner: President's choice blue menu shepherds pie, 1/2c peas, 2 Tbsp low sodium gravy, cherry cobbler which I doubled the recipe as I had points left 14pp

Other: green tea, coffee, kefir, glass of red wine 6pp
